Director of Facilities                                                       

 

Summary of Position:

 

Support the Director of Facilities by doing special projects (i.e., repair & maintenance, ADA, CapEx, refresh/remodels, New Restaurant Openings (NRO), etc.), assisting to resolve restaurant problems and serve as a liaison between company employees and outside contractors called in to fix those issues. The Facilities Coordinator is also involved in planning for future restaurant development and ensuring overall restaurant facilities needs are met.  Where necessary, the Facilities Coordinator assists with placing orders, receiving supplies and distributing them to the relevant parties.  This role will be responsible for communicating with vendors and update executives on all the changes and needs.  Assist the Director of Facilities with general administration, legal compliance, and other facilities-related needs.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in all aspects of project implementation as needed
  • Support with external contacts as needed
  • Represent the Facilities Department in inter-departmental meetings to support and facilitate communication and action between departments including field visits
  • Coordinate all Facilities activities, work direction, and support systems
  • Supervise contractors as needed
  • Independently maintain and update administrative policies and processes
  • Set up, maintain, and organize department's central files, information, filing, and messages.
  • Assist facilities staff in locating parts, supplies, and materials
  • Provide administrative support
  • Manage work request, assigning work orders, entering system data, and providing the overall system administration.
  • Invoice billing
  • Experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Complete additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Able to lift 25 lbs., climb ladders and stand for periods of time
  • Visit locations to assess projects

Required Education and Experience

  • Associates degree and/or 2 years of facilities management experience
